We practiced our numbers by hopping to them outside. This is the same idea as before just with numbers. I liked it because Caden tends to ramble off his numbers so fast and this game forced him to slow down and say them one at a time.
I am a stay at home mom of four boys and a little girl all under the age of five. I also teach Preschool from my home. I plan to homeschool my children. Even though they are not to the school age yet, I think it is important to start nurturing those little minds early on! My blog is called "Little Hands, Big Work" because every time a little hand starts playing they are really learning and working. Playing becomes learning and learning becomes growing, and isn't that what life is all about? I plan to post about activities, food, organization, parenting tips and more for the baby to 5 crowd.
I earned my Associates degree with most of my classes being in early childhood education. I was a preschool teacher for 3 1/2 years before I left to be a stay at home Mom and I have been loving it!
Looks like so much fun. I'm going to try this with my little guy who just learned to count to ten. :)
ReplyDeleteYou can also do a giant dot to dot this way, having them draw a line from 1-10 in order.
ReplyDeleteCute idea!
