We made a family rules chart:) It was really fun and it is helping all of us remember the kind of family we want to be:) Things to remember when making a rule chart:
Keep it positive ie. "Gentle hands" instead of "No Hitting!"
Keep it simple and down to a few rules for little ones!
I am a stay at home mom of four boys and a little girl all under the age of five. I also teach Preschool from my home. I plan to homeschool my children. Even though they are not to the school age yet, I think it is important to start nurturing those little minds early on! My blog is called "Little Hands, Big Work" because every time a little hand starts playing they are really learning and working. Playing becomes learning and learning becomes growing, and isn't that what life is all about? I plan to post about activities, food, organization, parenting tips and more for the baby to 5 crowd.
I earned my Associates degree with most of my classes being in early childhood education. I was a preschool teacher for 3 1/2 years before I left to be a stay at home Mom and I have been loving it!
